Good Lord listen to this….more than three hours after the dreadful shooting in Texas, Obama finally comes out and gives a speech on the rights of Native Americans….he works the room, he gives a ’shout out’ etc. THEN he mentions the deaths of the Fort Hood soldiers….
There is no obvious concern.
The tone lacks the any grief or sincerity.
His demeanor is cold.
And then, of course, the conversation turns back to his favorite topic…himself.
Even liberal news source NBC noticed and commented:
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow — that Congressional Medal of Honor winner.” Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting…
Just one more reason to be proud of this ‘president.’
